In this retreat with Andrew you will explore the techniques involved in producing realistic and lifelike paintings of birds and animals using either acrylics or watercolour.

You can choose your own subject and work in your chosen medium, looking at how to create realistic feathers and fur; eyes that capture the attention of the viewer; and techniques for rendering the textures and patterns of these wonderful subjects.

Experienced at holding workshops and working in a variety of media (including graphite pencil, coloured pencil, acrylics and pastel), Andrew is looking forward to providing students with all the support and guidance required to produce stunning works of art.
