Barn Owl Original Watercolour Bird Painting
This is a unique original watercolour painting of a barn owl sitting on a wooden post. The bird’s round white face is straight towards the viewer, but he is looking a little to the right as if his incredibly sensitive hearing has picked up some slight sound behind us. His speckled brown and grey wings contrast with his clean white chest and underside. Standing on an old wooden post, his sharp claws can clearly be seen. The background is painted loosely in a greeny blue wash.
Using artist-quality paints on heavy weight paper for a high-quality professional finish, the picture is presented in an off-white / pale cream colour mount, with a backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag. Measuring (with mount) 30 cm square (image size 20 cm square) - that’s approximately 12” (8”) - it will fit a readily-available standard-size frame.
