Autumn Fairy Whisperer
Inspired by the rich autumn leaves and light on walks through the beautiful woodland close to my home in East Sussex, I decided to work on a small series of oil paintings exploring the elemental and natural world in the fall.
I wanted the fairy to maintain an ethereal transluscent quality as this is what I see when I am doing shamanic healing work. Also to show the orbs dancing in the sunlight. This was in contrast to the fox's rich earthy and fiery reds and oranges.
