Bowburn Art Group

We are a friendly community art group with a wide range of abilities and skills. We are privileged to exhibit work in the Corridor Gallery at Bowburn Community Centre and host a Spring and an Autumn Exhibition exclusively for members. In addition we host a Community Exhibition each summer that is open to members, artists from the local & wider community, and children. Membership is open to those aged 18 years and over, who are willing to assist the Group achieve its Aims & Objectives in accordance with its Constitution.

We have a resident tutor and themed sessions are organised. Members are encouraged to take part in the themed activities to develop their skills and techniques, but we do recognise that some may wish to pursue personal projects during the weekly art sessions. In addition to our resident tutor, from time to time, we invite guest speakers/artists to present special workshops, and we also arrange occasional visits to art galleries and museums.
