Denbighshire Art Society

Denbighshire Art Society was set up in 1940 and is one of the oldest art societies in Wales. The society is fortunate to own its own premises so that it can run art classes, lectures and demonstrations and hold exhibitions in the Spring and Summer. The Society has approximately 90 members and runs a yearly programme of events to cover landscape, portrait, and abstract painting in all media as well as life drawing. The Denbighshire Art Society sponsors North Wales ArtFest, an annual 2 day Summer event, that showcases artists from North Wales, provides lectures and demonstrations and an opportunity to buy art materials from well known art suppliers.
