It exists to:
arrange demonstrations with experienced artists
provide information and assistance to all members of the society
arrange workshops for members
arrange outdoor painting opportunities
arrange exhibitions and publicise exhibitions organised by others.
Members meet on a weekly basis at The Brighouse Rest Centre, Park Row, Brighouse HD6 1AB with a demonstrator on alternate weeks. The meetings are on Tuesdays from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. A tea/coffee break is held usually from 8.30 pm for about 15-20 minutes.
The membership year runs from 1 October each year.
