Melton Mowbray Art Group

Melton Mowbray Art Group is flourishing with over 30 members but we welcome interested artists to come and see us; a warm welcome awaits you.
We meet on a Thursday evening from 7-9pm.
Tea, coffee and lovely selection of biscuits are provided free of charge and there is a weekly raffle.

We encourage all of our members to participate in a very busy annual programme which includes art exhibitions, outdoor sketching, participation in St Mary’s Church Christmas Tree Festival etc.
Each month we try to organise a DVD evening or a demonstration by a professional artist.
We also have a monthly topic to inspire members to paint and enter their art into a prize draw. 
We also hold fun “Creativity Evenings” where members lead us to try to do something a bit different and break out of our comfort zone. For example Playing with Pebeo paints, Encaustic Art, Atelier Interactive Acrylics.
 
We have an annual Christmas party, February “Cheer Up” meal, a July BBQ and a summer sketching programme when the group take a break from Thorpe Arnold Village Hall.
 
There is a large car park accessed from the A606 and disabled access to the hall
