Runnymede Art Society:
We are a local Art Society based at the Egham Hythe Community Centre, Thorpe Road, Egham, TW20 8DL, where we meet every Wednesday afternoon between 1.30pm - 4.30pm, for painting using any medium.  Meetings include demonstrations and tutor groups, on an occasional basis, with a programme of outdoor painting during the summer months. We hold two major exhibitions a year usually held in the United Egham Church in Egham High Street. Some of our members will accept commissions. The 2018 Autumn Exhibition is to be held on Friday 26th April from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm and 26th April from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm, at the United Egham Church. High Street, Egham, Surrey. A newsletter is produced in order to keep members updated with information regarding events, news, comment and "committee talk". Membership: New members will be made very welcome and the first two weeks are free as a 'taster'. The Runnymede Art Society (RAS) was founded in 1965 and currently has around 100 members. The Society meets every Wednesday from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm, at the Hythe Centre, Thorpe Road, Staines. Members of all artistic ability enjoy an afternoon of drawing and painting using a variety of media. RAS has a varied programme of Demonstrations and Workshops held throughout the year. Two Exhibitions a year are held in the Spring and Autumn at the United Church of Egham, High Street, Egham. Additionally, some of our members go regularly to assist the Egham Community Group improve their artistic skills.
