Salisbury Group Of Artists

The Salisbury Group of Artists was established in the 1940s and exists for the advancement and practice of painting and allied visual arts.
It is a friendly group of people of all ages who are interested in art, and offers members an opportunity to develop new skills and exhibit their work.
There is a regular weekly Friday afternoon art group from September to June with a comprehensive programme in an enjoyable setting including outdoor work in suitable weather. This is an opportunity for members to get together to practise art and learn from each other.
In addition there are monthly Saturday workshops on offer with tutors experienced in a variety of mediums. Half day untutored Life drawing sessions are also held, plus various organised events including sketching trips, demonstrations and visits to art exhibitions.
