The society exists to foster enjoyment of art and to encourage participation in painting and drawing. We have a programme of events with demonstrations by artists working in a range of media and regular artist-led workshops to enable experimentation and skills development. We are currently managing to stage two exhibitions each year, showcasing and selling work by members of the society. We also donate some of our art work to raise funds for charity.
