Planning on joining us for our Artist of the Year Exhibition on the 1st – 6th October? Why not make it a day trip! We have put together a list of things to do, events to visit and places to stay during your time in Nottingham.

What’s on?

If you’re in the mood for music, there are several musicians playing over the week. Caitlin Krisko and The Broadcast will be at The Bodega on Wednesday 2nd October from 7pm – 10pm (Tickets Here). Also playing at The Bodega, Thursday 3rd, will be Crystal Tides at 7pm – 11pm (Tickets Here). If Rock music is more your style, Apocalyptica Play Metallica will be playing at Rock City on Friday 4th from 6.30pm – 10pm (Tickets Here).

Why not see an award-winning musical? Come From Away will be showing from the 1st October to the 5th October, a smash hit Broadway show based on a true story! (Tickets Here)

If you’re more suited to an afternoon filled with history, head to the University of Nottingham Museum for the ‘Bronze Age Offerings In The River Trent’ exhibition. Showcasing 200 bronze objects that have been removed from the River Trent over the years. Admission is free of charge, more information can be found here.
