Trade

“My family has a home in Ghana and we visit frequently. I find the culture there fascinating and am currently working on a series of narrative artworks inspired by the people and the environment. This painting shows traders along the bustling waterfront of Accra.”

Sole Bay Chips

“Sole Bay is a popular place to buy fish & chips. The fish is caught, dropped off at the back door, cooked & served at the front door. Not a chip is wasted, the seagulls eat every chip that is dropped. A delight to watch them wait & dive & eat. No litter, no waste. A sadness added to this painting as during May there was an accidental fire in the middle of the night & Sole Bay was destroyed. The seagulls will have to look down the harbour. I will have to look at the rebuild to paint again.”
