Angela Corben

Fordingbridge, Hampshire

My painting is all about a love of nature and the excitement I get from the colours and the shifting light. I love painting outdoors 'en plein air' where there is no time to doubt oneself and I really feel the thrill and connection to the elements. I am an experienced qualified tutor, having taught Art in Secondary schools and for examining boards for 8 years. My teaching style is structured, caring, and I strive for everyone to find their own unique style within a framework of techniques. I now run the New Forest Art School where I tutor regular day classes, workshops, painting holidays in the New Forest and abroad with Shades of France holidays.
