I came from a long line of artists. My mother studied at The Slade, London. I studied Architecture at University College London, before then going on to study Fine Art at Middlesex University. I have taught in schools and colleges for over 25 years. I now own, run and teach at East Devon Art Acdemy, an art school based in Sidmouth, Devon. We cater for all abilities from beginners through to experienced artists. We teach all media, including oils, watercolour, acrylic, pastel and mixed media. I teach mainly adults but I do run some classes for young students, ages 10 -16 years. I specialise in land and seascapes, figure and portrait. I often place figures within landscapes in my own painting. We also run untutored life classes on a regular basis.  I run regular classes as well as one off workshops. I do demonstrations and workshops at Art Societies. I regularly exhibit my work.
