Hi I am Chelsea, an artist specialising in coloured pencil, pastel, and graphite mediums, I am known for my photorealistic portrayals of animals, people, and wildlife.
Residing in the picturesque county of Cornwall, my work is deeply influenced by the beauty of my surroundings, providing an endless well of inspiration.
Despite the challenges I've faced due to Cerebral Palsy since birth, my artistic journey has been defined by resilience and determination. My disability has not hindered my creativity; instead, it has fostered a sensitive and introspective approach to my craft.
Growing up surrounded by a variety of animals, my deep affinity for them is reflected in my choice of subject matter. From cherished pets to the diverse wildlife of my childhood, my art serves as a tribute to the natural world that has always been my sanctuary.
My grandfather has been a significant influence on my artistic development, his gentle guidance and shared love for nature leaving an indelible mark on my work. His memory lives on in my wildlife pieces, honoring his legacy as my mentor and greatest supporter.
Fueled by a passion for my craft and a desire to share my unique perspective with the world, I am committed to pushing the boundaries of my artistry, inspiring others with my unwavering dedication and spirit.
