Clare trained at The Slade School of Fine Art and was awarded The Slade Prize on graduation. She has exhibted widely, won many prizes and taught across the south west including The University of Bath when it extended a branch into Swindon. Clare now runs courses in Blandford Forum, Dorset and in a village near to where she lives called Chettle -in the heart of The Cranborne Chase.
