I am a self-taught artist working in Acrylics and mixed media.
I take my inspiration from the countryside around me and try to convey a feeling of the outdoors in paint.
I am new to the Forest of Dean and I am enjoying exploring new areas and new vistas to take inspiration from. I work mainly from photos but am experimenting with working outdoors direct from nature.
I occasionally like to work in an abstract way, working purely on an emotional level, seeing where the form, colours and materials take me.
