My love of landscape and seascape is inspired by the area surrounding my home which is situated on the border of the New Forest and Dorset. This location offers plenty of inspiration and I particularly enjoy working en-plein air. I often use painting knife rather than brush when working in oil or acrylic, this technique removes over control and produces realism particularly in landscape. I studied at Bournemouth University Arts College followed by traditional painting techniques at The Princes Drawing School, Kensington Palace, London.
