I was born in Venezuela in 1955. I started painting in 1990 and received tuition from Antonio Galeandro and Siomara Ochoa, two well-known artists in Caracas. In 2006 I came to the UK and now live in Derby where I work from my studio taking commissions and organising art classes. My strength is in portraits, although my paintings include landscapes and flowers. I believe there are no limits to learning and I am constantly experimenting and trying out new techniques using charcoal, pastels, oils and crayon.
