I have had a varied career, and only really started painting in 2000 after I was introduced to pastels by a friend, I found I had great affinity for these and are now my medium of choice. I live in Whitby,North Yorkshire, a very beautiful place for an artist, and I am a member of Whitby Art Society.
I have exhibited widely, including The Great Sheffield Art Show, the Ferens Gallery Hull, the East Coast Open ( Scarborough ) , Danby Moors Centre, North Yorkshire Open ( Pannett Gallery, Whitby ) and with the Pastel Society of Australia.
I was recently made a member of the Pastel Society of Australia.
