Hi I’m Lois, an Artist based in Leicestershire. My work is mainly focussed around two subject matters: female figures, exploring the nude and identity. And also water, I feel most at home by the sea so I like to create images that remind me of the calm, soothing atmosphere that embraces my soul by being by the waves.
My style varies depending on my mood.
I'm fascinated by shape, line, texture and form.
I love to manipulate shapes and break down objects to reveal their wide spectrum of colour and highlight details you might never know were there. My inspiration comes from my life experiences and the beauty I see around me every day.
I believe that Art is a form of communication that has the power to speak to everyone. Art can open your eyes to things you've always taken for granted, and make you feel what you least expected.
