I grew up in a small village in Lower Saxony, Germany and have now settled in the lovely coastal town Burry Port in Wales, UK.

My art is enriched by these two cultures and is often abstract in how I perceive the world around me.

Working from the garden studio I focus to make happy and colourful art. I describe my art as exuberant and joyful and created with a lot of fun.

A colour lover, I am drawn towards abstraction, leaving my paintings often deliberately open-ended and intriguing to the viewer.

My favourite paint medium is acrylic which I love because it allows me to build up layers and texture.

Three years ago I started using paper collage and other found objects into my art work and I am still experimenting.

Currently I love creating mixed media flower, funky animals and abstract mark making paintings.

I also enjoy digital art using an app called procreate. I am fascinated by creating abstract landscapes and I often use the app to modify photo images.
