I have been painting now for over 12 years after returning to art after I retired from a career in business. My love of art has taken me on many a journey and I love that feeling of exploration and discovery. Every new painting brings me something to learn and enjoy - well mainly! I started painting in oils but now do more in acrylics, watercolours and I love collage/mixed media and find that far more exciting and creative. Any artist that says there is nothing more to learn is talking through the hole in their palette I think! Art has been a solace and a joy for me and I hope will continue to be so for many more years to come.
