Lawrence is a very experienced artist painter and teacher. She has exhibited, sold and received commissions for a variety of subjects - portraits, landscapes, figurative scenes, and even murals. She has taught at adult education colleges, and painting holidays in England, France, Spain, Canada, USA and Panama. Now living in Portland, Dorset she offers 1:1 consultations for visitors. Each year she leads a group of enthusiastic painters for a week on Kalymnos, Greece - AND will be returning again in September 2024 .
After attending the Harrow School of Art, a course in graphic art and Adult Education teaching in 1988.
She has won several awards over the years and exhibited at the Mall Galleries, London with several Societies. She was awarded a bronze medal at the 1994 Paris Salon, Hon Mention with the Society of Canadian Artists.and with the Contemporary Portrait society, London.
