Born in Brockham, Surrey I was one of a large family who inherited creativity from talented parents. Music, art, woodworking and other skills handed down. Trained by my father from an early age, I inherited his eye for detail and developed my love for portraiture and still life. While my professional working life was built around architecture, my love and recreation was always art in one form or another. Trusted to use his precious oils and sable hair brushes from an early age, practice with his pastels and work with the water colours, I developed an innate understanding. Now, I indulge myself in my medium of choice, pastels.
