Initially I trained as a Primary School teacher specialising in Art but in 2011 decided to concentrate on being a full time Artist.. I have been teaching Watercolour Painting for over 25 years and feel very privileged that what I love doing the most is now a very rewarding career.I look forward to going to work every day and meeting interesting and friendly like-minded people.My favourite painting subjects are flowers, wildlife and the natural world. Whenever I take the dog for his walk, my pockets are invariably full of special finds for painting such as feathers, pebbles, shells, leaves etc. I love experimenting with mixed media, gold leaf and even polyfilla can sometimes find its way into my creations!
