Drawing and painting has been a mainstay throughout my life with a particular fondness of portraying animals. Despite following an academic path initially I soon decided that I couldn't ignore the pull towards creating. Most of my work has been commission based, a highlight being asked to paint a racehorse to present to the late Queen for her 90th birthday. Alongside the commission work I enjoy having fun with different subject matter and experimenting with style. I work both from home and from a studio here in Cornwall.
