Since moving to the West Country in 1983 I have been a full time professional artist, specialising in animals in pastel and mixed media. For many years I produced images for the giftware industry, as well as undertaking commissions and exhibiting my work. Some of my more recent images are available as limited edition prints through leading publishers Buckingham Fine Art Publishers. I have a selection of originals, prints and cards on display in various galleries up and down the country, and my work has been shown and sold at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art. Animals have always been an important inspiration for my work, not only my own cats and dogs but also the multitude of abandoned and stray cats and kittens that I used to foster for an animal rescue charity. My paintings range from commissioned portraits of my clients' beloved animals through to wildlife, including the native animals of Dartmoor and Exmoor - not forgetting the ever popular otters which could be found near my previous home in Devon's "Tarka" country. I am now living in the South Somerset/West Dorset area where I will shortly be running workshops and private tuition. Further details to follow.
