Zoe James-Williams is a Welsh artist and art teacher living on the Gower coast.
Zoe is an official Derwent Ambassador.
Her artwork is in private collections across the UK and the Channel Islands and the collections of the Welsh National Opera and Swansea Grand Theatre.
Zoe teaches drawing and watercolour to all levels in Mumbles and Swansea. She now teaches art courses online and welcomes all those wishing to learn art to her online art community no matter where you are!
The first Artist in Residence at Swansea Grand Theatre Zoe covers life on and off the stage in various theatres. Companies she has been privileged to paint and draw include The Welsh National Opera, Royal Ballet and many local groups. Zoe's paintings are in the art collections of the WNO, Bill Wyman and many ballet dancers from the Royal Ballet and Mariinsky etc.
Zoe's art explores the inner character and mood of her subject whether in a portrait or landscape painting. Her art aims to lead the viewer towards a deeper reflection on the hidden stories within the paintings and in themselves.
