African Elephant
Painted to demonstrate the sgraffito technique on Fisher 400 sanded paper. I used a dark under layer of pastel on the elephant then Painted lighter tones on top of this. Finally scratched out the creases and wrinkles with a craft knife. Always scratches back to the first pastel layer applied. Great method.
