Ashford in the Water is on the River Wye and it is one of my favourite places in Derbyshire. Being close to Bakewell, it is a popular village for summer visitors, but was quiet and peaceful when I visited last year. The range of colours in the trees behind the bridge is amazing and I just had to paint the picture. I hope you like !
