Ballade dans le Var
This is my new painting I will be presenting at the Titchfield art show in April. It is called “ballade in the Var”. The Var county is in Provence where we escape when we go to France. I fell in love with the country side, when I was in my 20’s . When we bought our property , I was over the moon that the dream came true😂.
So I needed to paint it 😂. The colour of the sky is almost electric blue at times , the pines are almost fluorescent green at times and the earth goes between brown red to any shade of ochres. So no way on could have done a full painting with that scenery.
