Blue Green Mosaic Small Original Coloured Pencil Abstract Drawing
This is a unique original small abstract drawing in jewel-like shades of green and blue, set off by a rainbow of reds and oranges. Inspired by the crackled texture of a log which had been partly burned, I used the outlines for a mosaic design and loaded them with colour. The pattern reminds me of a magnified close-up of a butterfly wing.
Using artist-quality coloured pencils on heavy weight paper for a high-quality professional finish, the picture is presented in an off-white / pale cream colour mount, with backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag. Measuring (with mount) 8” wide by 10” tall (image size 5” by 7”) - that’s approximately 20 by 25 (12 by 18) in cm - it will fit a readily-available standard-size frame. If you don't have space to display a large work of art, you can still own an original artwork with this small drawing.
