The endless aspect of spiral patterns fascinate me, and they are to be found throughout of natural world. Going back in time, spirals are to be found in cave drawings from many cultures. The blue green palette of this painting reminds me of the sea and the changing colours of reflected light. The swirling pattern draws you into the vortex - maybe it’s a whirlpool or a portal to another galaxy?
