Crantock Bay by the River Gannel Estuary, Cornwall

There are so many beautiful places in England, but few can compare to the amazing view you get from Fernpit Cafe in Newquay. Even on a dull day, the view is breathtaking. Crantock Bay is lined with beautiful clean sandy beaches, interspersed with the turquoise meandering River Gannel making its way to the Atlantic Ocean. All around there are beautiful trees and flowers sprouting from the banks, with seagulls searching for the crumbs from the tables of the café. On a sunny day it is quite heavenly. There are less tourists on this stretch of the beach - perhaps due to the unpredictable flow of the estuary.. and from the top of the cliff, I can see it all...
