This painting was based on a photo seen and copied to my file a few years ago. I have no idea where the reference photo came from, but I felt it captured the very essence of the Derbyshire Countryside, which I love. Then, with it also including the beautiful colours of the trees in autumn, I just felt compelled to paint the picture. Its yet another of my peaceful scenes and so hope you like it.
