Fabulous Buttermere
Fabulous Buttermere was completed in 2014 and depicts precisely my favourite kind of landscape and where I love to be - rain or shine! The painting is based on a photo that I originally found in Google Images a few years ago. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the photographer, so, as of now, I can't give the photographer the credit he or she deserves.
I've just returned from the Lake District and, while there, I was able to walk right around Buttermere and have taken lots of photos with paintings in mind. So, you can be sure that I will soon be painting another larger sized picture of the lake and the wonderful mountain scenery that surrounds it. I've done it - see my painting "The Magic of Buttermere" !!
My painting "Fabulous Buttermere" is not for sale, as it is one of my favourite scenes and is hung in my hallway at home. However, I would be prepared to produce another version as a commission if requested to do so.
