Flamborough Head Lighthouse

lamborough Head Lighthouse on a gloriously sunny day. The current lighthouse was built in 1806 and acts as a waypoint for deep sea vessels and coastal traffic as well as marking the Flamborough Headland for vessels heading for the ports of Scarborough and Bridlington. It has been refurbished and is open to the public.

This is drawn with a Majohn Fude pen, using Noodlers black ink on Saunders Waterford NOT watercolour paper, 300gsm, 19x28cm Fat Pad. Watercolour is Winsor & Newton Professional (Cobalt Blue for the sky) and Daniel Smith Paynes Blue Grey for the shadows and shading.)
