Horsey Gap Seals
Horsey Gap Seals is based on a reference photo I took myself in Norfolk whilst visiting friends there. Whilst taking some shots on Horsey Gap Beach, this little pup stuck its head up, providing the most adorable image reference. I decided to paint this in pastel on 11 x 15 inch Pastelmat. My main focus was creating enough depth in the image to show how far the seals were lay down the beach. This was mostly created in PanPastel with the addition of 1 or 2 pencils for the pup.
