Marabou Stork Original Coloured Pencil Bird Drawing
This is a unique original colour pencil drawing of a marabou stork, a large and powerful bird native to Africa with very long legs, a bald head and a thick strong beak. He is bent down looking at the floor and lifting one foot which has slightly webbed toes. His black and white plumage is very striking and a contrast to the pinkish beak. To show him most clearly, no background has been added except an indication of the gravelly ground on which he is standing.
Using artist-quality coloured pencils on heavy weight paper for a high-quality professional finish, the picture is presented in an off-white / pale cream colour mount, with a backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag. Measuring (with mount) 14” wide by 18” tall (image size 10” by 14”) - that’s approximately 35 by 45 (25 by 35) in cm - it will fit a readily-available standard-size frame.
