I used wet on wet in this painting plus a good deal of paint flicking with gold splatter as well. I have let the watercolour paint do its own thing and was pleased with the result. The metal buckles on the horses head collars are picked out in gold paint too. I have since used this image as my business card picture and made Christmas cards from it which have sold well.
