Time to stop and reset. As soon as I saw Nick Cooper's wonderful photograph, I knew I wanted to paint it! The soothing blue of the ocean and pop of bright colour on the umbrella and swimsuit really drew my eye. When I look at this painting I am transported back to happy holidays and feel the warmth of the sun and coolness of the ocean.
