Mollys Yard
Pen and Wash is a beautiful medium. Such a pity that it is often suggested simply as a cure for a failed watercolour. If a watercolour has failed, a pen won't help it. The pen provides the structure and the wash provides added interest. On this basis the pen MUST be applied first.
