Oasis of Calm
Gilli Austin's "Oasis of Calm", an acrylic on paper. An early acrylic painting created in 2002. It was actually constructed using the best pieces of two actual gardens I saw in Oxhey, Hertfordshire. So this garden really doesn't exist in real life! Appeared at Obsidian Art, Solo show at Margate, on the Axis website, in the window of Tim's art supplies and at Hitchin Art Trail (2004). Painting has been sold and is being held in a Private art collection in the UK.
