Overheard-unspoken
This painting is concerned with three dimensions of listening, hearing and memory, in relation to musical reminiscence; the three layers are linked to one another by space, time and the texture of memories - something just out of reach which we can sometimes reach and touch but is then lost again, like a favourite piece of music we may hear from time to time which brings that which is lost back for just a little while.
