I composed this painting of two lovers connected only by their kiss, no other parts of their bodies touching, to portray the figures circling around each other connected yet not entirely committed to an embrace. The male seems the dominant slightly ominous figure and yet the female with the arch of her body is larger in proportion and in no way of lesser importance in completing the circle.
