Pipe Dream

A bit of a change of direction for me. This came from my desire to combine a fairly conventional portrait with layers and textures to create a dreamlike image where nothing is what it seems. I used stencilling and thin layers of paint to melt the central image with her surroundings. I wanted a sense of ambiguity combined with realism to be the central theme.
