Reflections 6
This abstract expressive is part of my Reflections series most of which were painted during the 2020 lockdown. While the images are derived from photos of reflections in water (this one from Free Reference for Artists on Facebook), they were a reflection of the chaos of the world around us at the time. It draws on the impressionist mark making of Monet and involves layers of colour applied with a palette knife and a brush.
