Cream Rose Boughs in the wind

I’ve been fascinated this summer watching the light catch the petals on the cream shrub roses outside my window. They are almost luminous in some lights . I love to see the long heavy boughs sway gracefully in the breeze.
This painting is part of a series on roses for my exhibition in September 2023 in Somerset.
