St James Park at Night
A friend of mine had a picture of St James Park at night as a screensaver and I just loved the colours. So I trawled the internet and found a few just like it and took the bits I liked most from each and made it into a largish oil painting. Too closely resembling the photos for me to anything with and like most images I find on the internet, no names or contact details so I can't contact the original photographer. But I knew this before I started it and just wanted the opportunity to have a go at painting it. I found that I learned a lot from painting this scene.
